Day 2
Things are more or less on track so far but that doesn’t mean everything’s quite gone to plan. Last night I didn’t get to bed until 2.30 and I think it was closer to 3 before I got to sleep. I made up for this a bit by setting my alarm for 8.30, rather than 8 - so I’ve had between 5.5 and 6 hours sleep. - Close enough.
When I first got up I was very, very, tempted to return to bed. However, amazingly, willpower kicked in and I actually stayed up. I don’t feel that tired right now really… I’m cold, and I have a strange kind of upper stomach ache which I think is muscle related - neither of which are likely to be related to this whole sleeping less thing, but, I don’t think it’s helping much either. On the plus side though, other than that, I’m pretty good.
With the early rise this morning, hitting bed at 2am tonight/tomorrow morning should be relatively easy - the difficulty will come in making it that far, and of course - in getting up at 8 again tomorrow. I figure probably Monday or Tuesday will be the hardest, then hopefully after that i’ll slowly start getting used to it.
